LUCANIA, Sybaris. Circa 550-510 BC. AR Nomos (27mm, 7.97 g, 12h). Bull standing left, head right; MV in exergue / Incuse of obverse, but no ethnic. S&S Class D, pl. XLIX, 17 (this coin illustrated); HN Italy 1729. Fine, toned, areas of flat strike at periphery. Rare issue with MV in exergue.
