KINGS of MACEDON. temp. Antigonos I Monophthalmos – Seleukos I. Circa 310-280 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 17.09 g, 4h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Uncertain mint (in Asia Minor or the east?). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monograms in left field and below throne. Price 4048 = BM 2002,0101.996 (same dies). VF, lightly toned, light deposits, off center on obverse. Extremely rare, one in Pella (the BM coin), one in CoinArchives.
