Afghanistan Bank of Afghanistan 500 Afghanis ND (1939) Pick 27s Specimen. A colorful example from the first issue for the bank. The central vignette is a portrait of King Muhammad Zahir. This is the second rarest denomination for the series eclipsed by the 20 Afghanis denomination. PMG has mentioned a small paper pull which is not readily discernable but they have also added the comment "Good Color" to its holder of this pretty oversized note. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
