Cameroon Kaiserliches Gouvernement 100 Mark 12.8.1914 Pick 3a. The highest denomination of the first series issued for Cameroon, then a German colony. These interim notes were prepared locally due to the difficulty of printing and transporting banknotes to Africa during World War I. The majority of these notes were redeemed for French issues, after Germany's loss and transfer of territory to the French. A certainly uncommon design, enhanced by its PCGS Gem New 65PPQ condition.
