Lot of two brass buckles, one complete, from the Tilbury (1757). Larger buckle 6.89 grams, 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" and smaller buckle 32.82 grams, 1-7/8" x 1-5/8". A pair of well-preserved buckles, the larger in three working parts connected by a hinge and the smaller a single piece with a small inscription, perhaps denoting the buckle maker. From the Tilbury (1757), with original certificate from the consignor.
