Neatly formed silver ingot, 1967 grams, about 98.5% fine, with stamps of the Amsterdam chamber of the VOC (Dutch East India Co.) and "jumping goat" assayer-mark of Otto and/or Wouter Buck, from the Rooswijk (1739). 6-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1-1/4". Like nearly all the ingots from this wreck, this piece is beautifully uncorroded and graced with bold marks on one side, the opposite end showing several adjustment cuts with wide, deep pit inside, very light filing on one edge.
