USA, $1 silver certificate, series 1935C, serial T20400663D, salvaged from the Andrea Doria (1956), in large PCGS Currency capsule and promotional case, grade "A." Entire case: 12-1/2" x 8-1/4" x 2-1/2". Scarcer series as from the Andrea Doria with only 68 notes recovered and almost never seen on the market. Light degradation around upper left corner. Scattered light staining but original paper quality with good color. PCGS #80016841. Encased in a Lucite holder contained in a display box accompanied by a salvager's certificate and promotional DVD entitled "S.S. Andrea Doria: A Journey of Adventure."
