Head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath and taenia / Nude Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club and lion skin; blundered legends, degraded M to left. HGC 6, 359. Göbl, OTA Class III. Very Fine; nicely toned; typical wavy flan; scattered light porosity. Attractive wild Celtic style; unusual circular star design at nape of neck.
