Stylized head of Roma right with large eye / Horse leaping right, image (Victory?) above. Cf. de la Tour pl xxvi. Near Very Fine; reverse good Very Fine and beautifully toned; irregular flan.

This piece is reminiscent of the Armorican staters from the Channel Islands and Northwest Gaul, where for example the figure above the horse may be a fragmentary charioteer, or a monster.
