KINGS of MACEDON. temp. Antigonos I Monophthalmos – Lysimachos. Circa 310-290 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 16.90 g, 10h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Uncertain mint in western Asia Minor. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, monogram above grape bunch. Cf. Price 2763 (drachm); CNG E-303, lot 21 var. (symbol; same obverse die). VF, lightly toned. Well centered. Apparently unique.
