KINGS of MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes. 306-283 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 17.19 g, 6h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Amphipolis mint. Struck circa 294-290 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; no control marks. Unpublished, but struck from the same obverse die as the illustration of Price 508. VF, toned. Apparently unique.
