INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka. Circa AD 152-192. Æ Tetradrachm (24mm, 11.54 g, 12h). Main mint in Kapisha (Begram?). Early phase. Huvishka seated facing cross-legged, holding ankuśa (elephant goad) or sword and scepter; trace of clouds below / Mao standing left, extending hand in benediction and holding hilt of sword; tamgha to left. MK 837; ANS Kushan 939-44; Donum Burns 326-9. Fine, earthen dark green patina, cleaning scratches on reverse.
