Some scattered dark spots to the obverse seem to be the only detractions to an otherwise flawless chocolate-brown medal of particular scarcity, no comparable examples of the precise type having entered the market for several years. The scene of Karl Friedrich taking Stephanie's hand usually coupled with a laureate obverse of Napoleon, this specimen instead features a commemoration of the Prince of Baden's visit to the Paris Mint in 1806.
