Napoleon I. First Empire (1804-14). Imperial University silver Medal 1808 MS61 NGC, Bramsen-716, Julius-1885, by Gayard. A blinding silver example of this very scarce medal, a bright white in color with a fringe of deep red-gold. Minor hairlines are faintly evident in the fields, but are insufficient to distract from what is an outstandingly attractive piece.
