Napoleon I. First Empire (1804-14). Marriage of Napoleon to Marie-Louise of Austria silver Medal 1810 MS62 NGC, Bramsen-952, Julius-2264, by Andrieu. 40.5mm. Engraved in exquisite high-relief and struck to commemorate the second wedding celebration of Napoleon and Maria Louise at the Louvre in Paris on April 2, 1810. Entirely original, pale gray and gold tone traverses the surfaces, with significant underlying reflectivity in the fields. Besides a cut to Napoleon's neck, the surfaces are practically unmarred and the appearance superb.
