Metcalf-497. Obverse: triple-turreted castle, "+ CIVITAS TRIPOLIS SVRIE"; reverse: cross in polylobe "+ SEPTIMVS BOEMVNDVS COMES". Bohemund was count of Tripoli and nominal prince of Antioch in the final days of the Crusader States but instead of fighting the infidel, fought the Templars instead. This specimen is well struck and lustrous with all legends readable, though a little hairlined. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details Secure Holder.
