37 mm. Brettauer-3742. Silver medal illustrating two of the most famous Biblical Parables: The Good Samaritan and Abraham Sacrificing his son Isaac. Obverse image of a horseman who stops to aid a man who had been robbed and left for dead by thieves. At the top "LIEBE" (Love). Reverse: An angel staying Abraham's hand as he is about to kill his son, above "GLAUBE-HOFFNUNG" (Faith - Hope). Probably part of a set of teaching medals. Beautiful purple and blue toning over silver patina, darker on the obverse than the reverse. PCGS SP Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details.
