A coin that was considered an act of treason by the Mexican Federal government at the time it was struck, and a good way to get shot for anyone caught holding one. Die clash clear on both sides. This particular example also shows traces of compass lines, used to help align the peripheral lettering. Free of the planchet flaws that normally plague this issue. Good strike, brilliant with frosty luster and an excellent example of this highly popular issue. NGC MS-65.
