6 pieces in lot. An interesting assortment of Spanish numismatics. Includes a silver Proclamation medal, 8 Maravedis, 16 Maravedis, 40 Centimes, and 2 Pesetas (2). The Proclamation silver medal is sold as a raw medal. Good detail on the Proclamation medal, lightly toned. 8 Maravedis exhibits well centered obverse, good detail both sides with dark brown gray patina, 16 Maravedis is struck off center with full date visible and dark chocolate patina, 40 centimes well struck with light russet toning, the 1869 cleaned 2 pesetas with even wear and no distracting marks, and the 1870 (73) 2 pesetas with a decent strike, light wear, and with light attractive toning. The perfect gathering for the beginner to intermediate collector looking to fill out their collection. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. Grades ANACS AU-50 (1), EF-40 (1), & VF-20 Details--Cleaned (1), NGC AU-58 (1) & AU-50 (1).
