SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25.1mm, 16.82 g, 5h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Babylon I mint. Struck circa 300-294/3 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, crested Attic helmet left above monogram; monogram below throne. SC 87.4b; Price 3781; HGC 9, 10f. Good VF, horn silver, faint cleaning marks on obverse, slight die shift and a couple minor pits on reverse.
