SELEUKID EMPIRE. Demetrios II Nikator. First reign, 146-138 BC. Æ (22.7mm, 12.49 g, 12h). Uncertain mint 94 in Northern Syria. Undated issue, probably struck 144/3 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right / Winged Athena Nikephoros standing left, holding ground shield with spear in crook of arm; monogram to inner left. SC 1919.4c; HGC 9, 993. Near VF, dark brown surfaces with artificial reddish-brown and green highlights/deposits.
