World Coins, India, Afsharid, Nadir Shah (1148-1160h as king), rupee of Derajat 1160h (KM A385.3, listed under Iran), good very fine with dark toning, scarce
Coins of Derajat in the name of Nadir Shah are known dated 1158h, 1159h and 1160h, struck by the local ruler some years after Nadir's Indian campaign. These all have the khallad allah mulkahu legend on the reverse with the mintname. One other, undated coin is known without that invocation on the reverse and may well have been struck, earlier, during the campaign.
