Orders, Medals and Decorations, Viceroy Commissioned Officers, General Service Medal 1918-62, one clasp, Kurdistan, awarded to Ressaidar Fateh Singh, 9th Horse (Hodson's Horse), (Rsdr. Fateh Singh. 9 Horse.), lightly toned very fine
Ressaidar Fateh Singh entered service on 10th January 1901 and commissioned Jemadar on the 14th November 1916, Ressaidar on the 18th December 1917. He was previously awarded the Meritorious Service Medal as a Daffadar for service in France. The regiment was awarded 38 MSMs for WWI, only 11 of them for France.
Sold with copy medal roll for the GSM with Kurdistan clasp.
