Warring States. 291-266 BC, AE "Liang Zi" (3.4 g, 32.3 mm). Issued by feudal nobles in State of Qin. Early series without rims. A rare and important coin for type collectors. Beautiful rainbow patina on both sides. Very Good.

"Liang Zi" means "Two Zi" in Chinese. In State of Qin, a Zi equals 6 Zhu. This coin was worth 12 Zhu, which was exactly half "Liang". Therefore, this "Liang Zi" coin is often considered as a variant of the "Ban Liang" coin circulated in the State of Qin. Estimate Value $800 - 1,000
