Lydia, Sala. Pseudo-autonomous, time of Trajan. A.D. 98-117. AE 19 (19 mm, 4.85 g). СΑΛΗΝΩΝ (or similar, mostly illegible), bust of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian-style helmet and aegis, dotted border / ЄΠΙ AΛЄΞ IPЄΩC (sic.), Kybele seated left on throne, holding patera and resting elbow upon tympanum; lion to left. RPC III 2435; SNG von Aulock 3108; SNG Copenhagen 417-8; BMC 8-10; Weber 6896. Near VF, green patina with significant areas of thin,lighter green encrustation.
