IMP M ANT GORDIANVS AFR AVG, radiate. draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian I right, see from behind / VIRTVS AVGG, Virtus standing facing, head right, resting on shield and grounded spear. RIC 3; RSC 14. VF, dark gray patina with lighter deposits in recesses, small edge chip (broken piece included), brittle, "crystalized" alloy.
