A beautiful Harappan cup from the northern Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 B.C. This elaborately decorated vessel is 3-1/4” in diameter and is decorated with a pair of tigers, separated by plants and surrounded with varied geometric symbols simple linear décor. This small chalice stands on a pedestal foot, is intact and has good mineral deposits. Ex U.K. collection. [Value range: $300 - $500].
