Tu Duc gold 2 Tien ND (1848-83) XF Details (Excessive Surface Hairlines) NGC, KM523, Sch-402B, Fr-31. Obv. Blazing sun between facing dragons. Rev. Four characters (Tu Duc Thong Buu) around square central hole. This type is called "Song Long," meaning "meeting of the dragons", and extremely rare. A gorgeous example, that displays a typical crude strike, and despite the technical grade, abounds with golden shimmer.
