Hupeh. Hsüan-t'ung Dollar ND (1909-11) MS65 NGC, Ching mint, KM-Y131, L&M-187, Kann-45, incuse dot, but no swirl on fiery ball. An exceptional example, with full, bright mint luster and a touch of golden toning on the reverse. The strike is excellent for the type and the surfaces have only a very few tiny marks. The nicest example we have seen with none certified finer by either NGC, or PCGS. Ex. Gemini auction January 8, 2008, Lot 57, with auction tag.
