Kiangnan. Kuang-hsü 50 Cents CD 1899 MS62 Prooflike NGC, KM-Y144A, L&M-224, Kann-76. Another in the group of great rarities consigned from the W&B Capital Collection and usually considered the rarest of all Kiangnan coins. This striking example is fully brilliant, with bright silvery color over surfaces displaying only a few light hairlines. The strike is flawless and the fields reflective, with the overall appearance of a special striking and thus could easily have garnered the "Specimen" notation. An exceptional example of the grade. Only four examples have been certified by NGC and PCGS combined, with two pieces graded AU50, and the other AU Details. The The only two sales in the last 10 years, were an AU Details sold for $150,000 in 2010, and an AU at $210,000 in 2014. By far, the finest known of this great rarity.
