Kwangtung. Kuang-hsü silver Specimen Heaton Mint 50 Cents ND (1890-1905) SP65 PCGS, Heaton mint, KM-Y202, L&M-134, Kann-27. Superbly struck, with mottled gray patina over fully lustrous, reflective, surfaces. Only minor marks, consistent with this attractive Gem condition, are noted. This type, with the English legend on the reverse, corrects a design that was highly criticized. The other Provinces followed suit and this design became uniform for all the Dragon coinage.
