Republic silver "Year of the Child" Proof Piefort 50 Rupees 1980 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, London mint, KM-P1. Mintage: 78. Designed by Stuart Devlin, this type features the children of Seychelles doing a "center-dance" in front of a coco-de-mer palm tree. One of only three examples certified by NGC to date, and immaculate in its appearance; blast-white, with a light gold tone emerging on the reverse. An identically graded piece in our sale 3058 December 2017 achieved $1800.
