KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 4.24 g, 8 h), Babylon, struck under Archon, Dokimos, or Seleukos I. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ΦIΛIΠΠΟΥ Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, M. Price -, cf. P184 (tetradrachm). Very rare and nicely toned. Minor scuff on the obverse and with light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
