MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 26 mm, 12.51 g, 1 h), circa 104-98. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, ΔI; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, thyrsos entwined by a serpent. Kleiner 12. SNG Paris 1719. The obverse struck from the usual worn die, otherwise, good very fine.
