CILICIA. Nagidos (?). 4th century BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.33 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet. Rev. Turreted head of Aphrodite to left. Göktürk -. SNG Levante -. SNG Paris -. Very rare. A beautiful piece with a very attractive dark patina. Good very fine.
The tentative attribution of this coin to Nagidos is based on a related issue with a similar turreted head of Aphrodite on the reverse, which has the ethnic N-A in the fields (Göktürk 5).
