SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 17.09 g, 6h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Babylon I mint. Struck circa 311-300 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in wreath in left field, MI below throne. Cf. SC 82.5a–b; cf. Price 3746–7; HGC 9, 10f. Good VF, scrape and scratch on obverse, double struck on reverse.
