PHOENICIA, Berytus. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ (28mm, 18.57 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Astarte standing facing, left foot on prow, holding trident and resting hand on raised knee; to right, Nike sanding left on cippus; all within tetrastyle temple with annulet in pediment, acroteria on roof; below, two genii on dolphins facing central stairway. Sawaya 1683-6 (D335/R690). VF, dark green-brown patina, minor flat strike on lower bust.
