D'ANNUNZIO BEGEISTERT ITALIEN ZUM KRIEG, D'Annuzio, in evening dress, standing right on clouds, holding saber and speech; Below, crowds shout acclamations; MAI 1915 in exergue / VORBEREITUNG ZUM EINTRITT IN DEN WELTKRIEG (ornament), skeleton standing right on ground line, sharpening saber on grinding wheel; H L in exergue.
