GAUL, Sequani. Circa 70-40 BC. Unit (Potin, 20 mm, 5.36 g, 9 h), 'Grosse tête' type. Celticized head with dotted headband to left, wearing torques. Rev. Horned animal with S-shaped tail advancing left. Allen 328. Castelin 737-740. Gallia 52, B1-B3. Gäumann 71. Rare. A nice example with a lovely dark green patina. Very fine.
