AΛE-ΞANΔPOY Diademed bust of Alexander the Great to right, his head gazing upwards, wearing cuirass decorated with an eagle standing left but with his head turned to right; over Alexander's left shoulder, shield. Rev. KOINON MAKEΔONΩN NEΩ Athena seated left, holding Nike to right and spear; shield behind. AMNG - (no close parallel in the series of the first neokoria). Possibly unpublished and with a particularly elegant portrait bust. Very fine.
