Sextus Pompey. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.58 g, 8 h), military mint in Sicily, 38-36 BC. MAG•PIVS•IMP•ITER. Rev. PRAEF ORAE•MARIT•ET•CLAS• S•C• Skylla, with two fish tails and three dogs' heads, attacking with a rudder to left. Rare; beautifully toned. Good very fine.
