IMP AVRELIANVS AVG Radiate bust of Aurelian to left, seen from behind, wearing buckler and holding shield and spear; his shield is decorated with Aurelian on horseback galloping to right, spearing an enemy before. A clear and well struck Antoninianus with a stunning heroic portrait of Aurelian. Only 9 examples recorded of this type in the online version of RIC, and only 39 examples exist with this bust type. Good extremely fine.
