Aurelian, 270-275. Denarius (Billon, 19 mm, 2.28 g, 12 h), Rome, 275. IMP AVRELIANVS AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Aurelian to right. Rev. ORIENS AVG Sol standing facing, his head turned to left, raising hand and holding globe. RIC 67. RIC V online 2639. Same dies as CNG MBS 79, 17 September 2008, 1199. Very rare; only the 4th or the 5th example available; a well centered, clear example with some original silvering. Good extremely fine.
