Probus, 276-282. Antoninianus (Billon, 23 mm, 3.00 g, 12 h), Rome, 281. IMP PRO-BVS P F AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Probus to right. Rev. IOVI CON-S PROB AVG Jupiter, nude but for cloak over his shoulders, standing left, holding a thunderbolt in his right hand and a scepter in his left; in exergue, wreath between R and B. Cohen 306. RIC 173. Nicely silvered with a beautiful portrait of Probus. Minor striking flatness on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
