THESSALY, Pherai. Early-mid 3rd century BC. Æ Chalkous (14.5mm, 4.20 g, 3h). Head of the water nymph Hypereia facing slightly left, wearing wreath of reeds; to left, fish swimming upward / ΦEPAI[ΩN], Ennodia, wearing long chiton and holding long torch transversely across her body, seated facing on horse galloping right; to upper left, lion's head fountain spout to left, with water pouring from its mouth. Rogers 533; BCD Thessaly II 718; HGC 4, 569. VF, dark brown patina, compact flan, a little off center on obverse.
