EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. 3rd-2nd centuries BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 15.57 g, 1h). Copying Babylon(?) mint style. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram-in-circle (or wreath?) in left field. Cf. Price 3700 for possible prototype, otherwise unpublished in the standard references. VF, toned, double struck with worn dies.
