SYRTICA, Sabratha. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ Dupondius (28mm, 16.20 g, 4h). Struck circa AD 8-14(?). Bare head of Augustus right; lituus to right; all within wreath / Laureaete head of Baal-Melqart right. RPC I 813; MAA 42a. VF, brown patina with touches of reddish-brown and green, touch of porosity. Rare, and in better condition than usually encountered.
