(x) Anglo-Scandinavian coinage (c.1020-1040), Penny, 1.51g, 'Long Cross' type with bust left in the name of Aethelred, 'Lincoln, Aethelnoth', aedelraed rex anglo, the ng ligate, no pellet behind head, rev. + edl el.n.i odm ol.i[n], voided long cross with pellets in side crescents at ends (cf. Malmer 1103, 'Lincoln, Aelfzise'; see Mossop pl. X, 15-17, noted in Scandinavian copies; see Malmer 1106, 1133, 1145, and 1145 for imitations of this mint and moneyer), good very fine.
