Mesopotamia, Edessa. Gordian III. A.D. 238-244. Æ (29 mm, 12.85 g, 6 h). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right / Turreted and veiled bust of Tyche left; in left field, Aquarius or Marsyas(?) standing right on short pedestal. BMC 129. Green patina with encrustations and small pits. Nearly very fine.
