Head of Roma right, wearing winged helmet; behind, · C / C · FVNDAN in exergue, Triumphator (Marius?), holding scepter and laurel branch, driving walking quadriga right; a youth, holding a laurel branch, rides the nearest horse. Sear (RSC) notes this type relates "to the expedition of Marius against the Cimbri and his subsequent triumph with Teutobodus, king of the Teutones, a prisoner adorning the event in B.C. 101."
